Physiotherapy is the medical rehabilitation technique indicated in degenerative diseases of the neuro-musculo-arthro-kinetic apparatus, arthrosis, joint, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, as well as in all pathologies affecting the human body. Physiotherapy includes a whole range of procedures: electrotherapy, high-frequency laser therapy, ultrasound therapy, magnetotherapy, galvanic baths. A physiotherapy treatment can be a stand-alone option or can support other treatments. Low-frequency<\/strong> electric current used in physiotherapy has excito-motor effects on nerve fibres and muscle tissue. The diadynamic current<\/strong> with its various forms inhibits pain perception. Medium-frequency<\/strong> currents<\/strong> are sinusoidal alternating currents, the use of which induces: analgesic, decontracting-myorelaxant, striated and smooth muscle stimulating, hyperemic, trophic effects. Interferential current<\/strong> is the result of the crossing of two medium frequency currents, obtaining at the endotisular crossing site therapeutic effects through intensity modulated waves. Short waves<\/strong> use the properties of the condenser field generated by high-frequency currents, which have the property of producing heat as they pass through deep tissue.<\/h5>\n
TENS current<\/em><\/strong> (Transcutaneous Electrical Neural Stimulation) <\/em>is a physiotherapy procedure involving the use of direct electrical current to treat local symptomatic pain by exciting nerve endings.<\/h5>\n
Laser therapy<\/strong><\/h5>\n
Phototherapy is the medical technique that useshigh-frequency<\/strong> lasers to stimulate or inhibit certain cellular functions. Laser therapy<\/strong> has multiple applications in physiotherapy, from pain therapy to cell biostimulation. There are two types of applications: laser focused on pain points and divergent laser, laser scanning, which offers the possibility of treating larger areas. Laser therapy is<\/strong> non-invasive, using intense beams of light to help reduce pain. When infrared rays are directed towards an area of the body, physiological changes occur in the cells. Unlike surgical lasers, therapeutic lasers pass easily through the skin without damaging it.<\/h5>\n
Ultrasound therapy<\/strong><\/h5>\n
Ultrasound <\/strong>treatment produces a micro-massage in the tissues, ensuring a deep penetration of anti-inflammatory substances in gel form, depending on the dose can make a heating of the treated tissues.

Magnetotherapy<\/strong><\/h5>\n
Magnetotherapy acts in a punctual or dispersed manner. The topical application is performed by placing static magnets directly on the patient’s body on the painful areas in order to restore the electromagnetic fields of the cells affected by the disease, thus restoring the balance of the affected areas of the body. Dispersed Magnetotherapy<\/strong> – has the same therapeutic effect as the Magnet Belt, only it works over a larger area because the magnetic waves act in a dispersed way.<\/h5>\n
Cupping therapy <\/strong>works on the principle of producing negative pressure inside a suction cup or cup applied to the skin. The suction effect causes the skin to arch and bulge.
